I swear outside the main story missions any mission that had you enter a "structure" it was one of the same 3 goddamn structures. How many times did we assault the same goddamn enemy base? I would rather have 5 side missions in unique interesting locations than 20 that are basically all the same thing the mission briefing is just different. They were designed in such a manner to make simply moving from point a to point b a ridiculous chore because every place you landed was the fucking rocky mountains.Every planet you could explore was literally the same but a different color. They literally made 90% of the side content a boring ass chore. ME1 is the WORST offender of the 3 for mindless time wasting bullshit and they did it in the worst possible way. It is now widely used by the Alliance military and is the primary weapon on the refurbished Normandy SR-2.
The weapon's relatively small size allows it to be mounted on most fighters or frigates. The gun can fire reliably every five seconds. The molten metal, accelerated to a significant fraction of the speed of light, solidifies into a projectile as it is fired, hitting targets with enough force to pierce any known shield or armor. The Thanix's core is a liquid alloy of iron, uranium, and tungsten suspended in an electromagnetic field powered by element zero. Eleven months later, the turians introduced the Thanix, a scaled-down version of the weapon. During the cleanup, the turians secretly salvaged Sovereign's powerful main gun along with much of the weapon's element zero core. It's what the codex about the Thanix gun even says about the Thanix gun.Įdit: Here you go here is a reaper firing it's main gun at you.Īnd here is the ME 3 codex entry for the Thanix cannon (empahsis mine)Īfter the Battle of the Citadel, human and turian volunteers spent three months clearing the station's orbit of debris. It's functionally the same weapon as the Thanix.
It's literally in ever scene a Reaper fire's it's main weapon.
